Dear Joan,
It was difficult to join many friends to the theater to see this play. They didn’t want talk about death. I got only two. I had just finished the book, that touched me a lot, and I wanted hear more about Joan Didion experience and feelings, because it is a situation that can happens to everyone.
I am a 53 year old brazilian librarian, married, two children(teens), and I lost my parents few years ago. Since then, sometimes, I feel alone and sad, although I am a positive and happy person, most of time.
I think that is important to share experiences, including the hard ones.
I would like to greet you for your courage and sensitivity.
I liked your book and play very much!
Sincerely,
Eugenia Fava
